How to Bypass Echo.ac Checks on DayZ

Some DayZ servers run manual PC checks and ask players to download and run Echo.ac. This is not the same as a normal anti-cheat scan. It is an admin tool used to look for traces of cheats on the system.

If a server asks you to run it, how you prepare matters.

1. Close everything properly first

Before you agree to any check:

• Fully close the cheat loader
• Close any extra tools or injectors you may have open
• Make sure nothing related is still running in the background

For Foxyz, use the panic key if you have it set. Once the loader is closed, it runs a self-cleanup routine over the next 30–60 seconds that clears known trace points. Give it time to finish before you run anything else.

Whyper is also built to bypass Echo.ac checks. Still close it cleanly before starting the scan.

2. Clean up obvious files and accounts

Before you let an admin look at the PC, remove anything that makes the situation worse:

• Delete any leftover loaders or folders you saved outside the main cheat
• Clear related emails (purchase confirmations, keys, etc.)
• Log out or remove Discord accounts that are clearly tied to cheat servers or tickets
• Empty the recycle bin
• Clear recent files and downloads if anything obvious is sitting there

The goal is to avoid giving them easy proof sitting in plain sight.

3. General process

1. Close the cheat completely and wait for cleanup (especially with Foxyz)
2. Clean emails, extra loaders, and obvious Discord ties
3. Only then run Echo.ac as requested

Do not argue or delay in a way that looks suspicious. Just prepare first, then run the check.

Important notes

• Echo.ac is mainly used on certain modded servers. Official servers do not use it this way.
• Panic key + cleanup (Foxyz) and built-in bypass behaviour (Whyper) are the two current options that handle this situation better than most.
• A clean spoofer setup still matters. The scan is looking for traces, and the spoofer is what covers a large part of that.

If you play on servers that regularly do PC checks, it is worth knowing which cheats handle Echo.ac cleanly and preparing the system before you ever get asked.
