How to Avoid Bans in PUBG: Ban Reasons and Account Safety

Learn how to avoid bans in PUBG, understand temporary and permanent restrictions, and protect your account without relying on supposed safe stats.

A product being labelled undetected does not mean your account cannot be banned. Software detection, game rules and account security are different issues. This guide covers PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC, not PUBG Mobile.

Why did I get banned in PUBG?

Start with the restriction message, not your last match's kill count. PUBG's published penalty table covers unauthorized programs and hardware, modified game data, exploits, teamkilling, teaming and other conduct violations. It also separates an investigation restriction from a permanent penalty. See the official PUBG ban criteria.

A ban notice alone does not prove that a particular feature was detected, that another player's report caused it, or that a specific statistic triggered it. Keep the exact notice and any duration shown before deciding what happened.

Temporary PUBG bans vs permanent bans

An investigation restriction is not the same thing as a confirmed permanent ban. PUBG lists a maximum three-day restriction for investigating unauthorized software or hardware. Other violations have different maximum penalties, including permanent bans. The published table is not a promise that every case receives the same duration.

Use the wording and expiry information on your own notice. Do not assume every short restriction will become permanent, or that every permanent ban started with a temporary warning.

How to avoid bans and stay unbanned in PUBG

• Avoid unauthorized software, devices and game modifications. Changing settings does not make a prohibited tool permitted.
• Follow the conduct rules as well as the software rules. Teaming, intentional teamkilling and exploiting bugs are not made acceptable by playing without a cheat.
• Protect your game account, linked platform account and email with unique passwords and the available account-security options. Do not share access.
• Check an unfamiliar application's purpose before using it alongside the game. A tool does not have to be marketed as a PUBG cheat to cause a rules problem.

PUBG explicitly warns that game-altering programs and cheats or macros for other games can also violate its rules. It also says purchases, low KPD and short playtime do not exempt an account from restrictions. See PUBG's restriction policy.

Do low stats, ESP-only settings or a spoofer prevent bans?

There is no verified safe K/D or headshot percentage we can recommend. Keeping your stats low is not an exemption from enforcement.

The difference between PUBG aimbot and PUBG ESP describes what the software does, not whether its use is permitted. ESP-only use can still violate PUBG's rules.

Likewise, a HWID spoofer is not an account unban service. A compatibility or status label should never be read as a guarantee that an existing restriction will disappear or a future one cannot happen.

What if I think my PUBG ban is a mistake?

Read the notice and the official support policy before submitting a request. Keep any explanation factual and include the relevant account and restriction details only through the official support channel. Neither a shop nor a software provider can promise to reverse a publisher's decision.
