General Troubleshooting

How Do I Open the Menu?

Press Insert in the Siege lobby to open or close the menu.

I Can't See the Menu In-Game?

  1. Open Discord → User Settings → Game Overlay.
  2. Enable the standard overlay and disable the legacy overlay.
  3. Enable Overlay and Detection for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X.
  4. Enable Hardware Acceleration in User Settings → Advanced.
  5. Run Discord normally, without administrator privileges.
  6. Close Siege and repeat the startup sequence in our Unbanned R6 instructions.

Failed to Connect to Discord Overlay

Check the overlay settings above and confirm that Discord's overlay appears in-game. Then close Siege and load the product again before launching the game.

The Loader Won't Open or Is Stuck on a Connection/Update Screen

A network or ISP connection block can prevent initialization.

  1. Connect Cloudflare WARP or a VPN.
  2. Restart the loader and allow it to initialize.
  3. If it still will not connect, send a screenshot of the loader screen to CheatStore support.

My License Key Is Rejected, Already Redeemed, or Requests an Invoice ID

Open a CheatStore support ticket with your order reference and the exact message so staff can resolve activation.

Error Code: 0xBAD01

The loader could not find your Discord installation folder.

  • Check %localappdata%\Discord or C:\ProgramData\User\Discord.
  • Send support a screenshot of the installation folder.

Error Code: 0xBAD02

Discord's overlay failed to initialize. Restart your PC and repeat the setup sequence.

Error Code: 0xBAD04

Initialization failed. Restart your PC and try again. Contact support if the error persists.

Error Code: 0xBAD05

Discord is running with administrator privileges.

  1. Fully exit Discord.
  2. Reopen Discord normally, without Run as administrator.
  3. If the error continues, send the installation-folder screenshot described under 0xBAD01.

R6 Specific Troubleshooting

Why Does the Loader Show Build Transfer?

The loader needs your installed game build before setup can finish. Let an active upload complete.

Error: configGen worker returned failure code 1

Automatic build preparation failed. Follow these steps:

  1. Open a Support Ticket:
  1. Locate Your Game Executable:
  • Press Win + E.
  • Paste %localappdata%\Ubisoft\r6s into File Explorer's address bar.
  • Locate RainbowSix.exe.
  1. If the Folder Is Missing:
  • Launch Siege only to locate the file.
  • Open Task Manager → Details.
  • Right-click RainbowSix.exe and choose Open file location.
  • Close the game afterward.
  1. Provide the File:
  • Send RainbowSix.exe in your support ticket.
  • If Discord rejects its size, upload the file to a file-sharing service and send a link that support can access.
  1. Retry After Confirmation:
  • Wait for staff to confirm that the build has been processed.
  • Repeat the normal startup sequence in our Unbanned R6 instructions.

Web Radar Reports an Error

Capture the session phase and error message. Include both in your support ticket if a session cannot be established.
