Riot Vanguard uninstallation guide

Riot says uninstalling a Riot game does not always remove Vanguard if another Riot game still needs it. You will need to manually uninstall Vanguard itself.

  1. Press Windows key.
  2. Search Add or remove programs.
  3. Find Riot Vanguard.
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. Accept the UAC/admin prompt.
  6. Restart PC.

To re-enable Vanguard, restart your PC. Launch Riot Games & Validate game files, Riot says games requiring Vanguard will not run until Vanguard is enabled again.

FACEIT Anti-Cheat uninstallation guide

FACEIT Anti-Cheat has an app, a kernel-mode driver loaded on boot, and server-side validation for protected CS2 matches.

  1. Close FACEIT Anti-Cheat.
  2. Press Windows key.
  3. Search Add or remove programs.
  4. Find FACEIT Anti-Cheat.
  5. Click Uninstall.
  6. Restart PC.

To reinstall FACEIT AC simply visit FACEIT's website and download like normal and run setup.

Experimental / Risk method of only disabling the Anti-Cheats

Sometimes only disabling the Anti-Cheats itself can be enough to let the cheat function properly.

  1. Open CMD as ADMIN
  2. Enter net stop faceit & hit enter.
  3. Enter net stop vgk & hit enter.
  4. Enter net stop vgc & hit enter.
  5. Close CMD and attempt to launch cheat.
