Disable Microsoft Defender SmartScreen

- You need an administrator account to change this.
General Steps:
- Press Windows key.
- Search Windows Security and open it.
- Click App & browser control.
- Under Reputation-based protection, click Reputation-based protection settings.
- Turn Off the SmartScreen-related options you want disabled:
- Check apps and files
- SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge
- Phishing protection
- Potentially unwanted app blocking
- SmartScreen for Microsoft Store apps
- Accept the UAC/admin prompt if asked.
- Restart the PC if the app or installer still behaves the same.
Microsoft Edge Alternative:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots in the top-right.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Privacy, search, and services.
- Scroll to Security.
- Turn Off:
- Microsoft Defender SmartScreen
- Block potentially unwanted apps
