Vulnerable Driver Blocklist Important Notes Before Starting: This is a Windows security feature, not a BIOS setting. It blocks known vulnerable or unsafe drivers from loading. Recommended state: Disabled / OFF . If the setting is missing or greyed out, Memory Integrity, Smart App Control, S mode, or admin policy may control it. Vulnerable Driver Blocklist

Important Notes Before Starting:

  • It blocks known vulnerable or unsafe drivers from loading.
  • Recommended state: Disabled / OFF.
  • If the setting is missing or greyed out, Memory Integrity, Smart App Control, S mode, or admin policy may control it.
  • Restart is usually required after changing this setting.

General Steps:

  1. Press Windows key.
  2. Search Windows Security and open it.
  3. Go to Device security.
  4. Under Core isolation, click Core isolation details.
  5. Find Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist.
  6. Set it to OFF.
  7. Restart the PC.

If the option is missing or greyed out:

  1. Go to Windows Security → Device security.
  2. Click Core isolation details.
  3. Check Memory integrity.
  4. If Memory integrity is OFF, the driver blocklist may already be enforced.
  5. Restart the PC and check again.
